I believe every American deserves clean, running water at home, so that our communities can stay clean, healthy and vibrant. With my signature, I pledge to help end water poverty in America once and for all, and to create a future where:
- Every American enjoys their simple human right to clean, reliable water access
- Every family has the water they need to drink, cook, and clean their hands, bodies and homes;
- No family will choose between clean drinking water and putting food on the table
- Rural communities, Indigenous nations, and people of color will enjoy the same access to water as their neighbors
- Women and girls will no longer have to haul water on foot from contaminated sources or drive long distances to buy bottled water at the store
- Young Americans will no longer have to drive to truck stops, community centers or schools to use the bathroom or shower;
I pledge to fight until every American has the clean, running water at home we all deserve.
